Bain Barbecue was born in Memphis with a simple mission: bring real Texas-style barbecue to the Bluff City — no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just bold, fire-cooked flavor.
Founded in 2021 by Bryant Bain, we started with an old-school pit, a dream, and a serious respect for the craft. What began as a food truck quickly grew into a brick-and-mortar favorite in Cooper-Young, where our team serves up brisket, ribs, sausage, and sides smoked low and slow the way it’s meant to be.
We’re not about mass production. We’re about doing things the hard way — because it tastes better. We use prime cuts of meat, real wood smoke, and time-honored techniques passed down by Texas pitmasters. Every plate that leaves our kitchen is a reflection of our standards: clean bark, perfect smoke ring, deep flavor, generous portions, and service that feels like home.
